radchet-clank-size-matter.jpg

While on a much needed vacation, Ratchet and Clank’s rest and relaxation time is suddenly cut short as they soon find themselves lured into a mysterious quest. Following the trail of a kidnapped girl, Ratchet and Clank rediscover a forgotten race of genius inventors known as the Technomites. They soon uncover a plot more dangerous than they could have imagined. Featuring new and returning weapons and gadgets, including the Shocker, Agents of Doom and Shrink Ray, Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters packs all of the combat and destruction fans have come to expect from the series

The PSP is a lot smaller than the PS2 so is R and C as good as games in the past! Does size really matter?

Ratchet and Clank are on a break from their heroic work and take a vacation to planet Pokitaru. A little girl comes up to them asking if they can fight some robots so she can take pictures for her school project. A race of robots kidnap her and take her away so it is Ratchet and Clank who must save her!

The multi-player in this game is really cool with one new multi-player mode and two the same. The new one is called Iron lombax where players select a map to play on. Each map has a unique set of objectives that the player must complete to win the game. The two returning multi-player modes are Capture the flag and Deathmatch. In Capture the flag the players select a map and start of at base. The aim is to steal the enemies flag from their base and take it to the flag drop off point. The person/team that has the most captures at the end of the game time limit wins!Sometimes when you play Capture the flag there will a Capture point. The first Person/team to reach the set amount wins! In the deathmatch mode players must load there weapons and get ready for combat because in this game you have to find and kill your opponent. The player who reaches the number of set kills wins the game! The multi-player mode supports both ad hoc and infastructure modes.

The graphics are pretty much the same as the PS2 versions of the game. They are quite good graphics and ratchet looks real cool wearing his armour! Clank also looks good but he is not as lucky because he doesn’t get to wear the cool armour. The enemies also look good and there is a wide variety of enemies to so they are not all the same! Also when you watch the movies the graphics are very good. They look good considering Ratchet and clank are not real. Well I don’t think they are anyway. Overall Quite good graphics.

The sound is impressive and fun to listen to while playing the game. Similar sort of music to old Ratchet and Clank games. The sound effects are good to with some old sound effects returning such as the sound of grinding on rails. Good sound for this game!

This game is fantastic for game re-playability. Once you have finished the game you can start again in challenge mode with all you weapons, armour and bolts! To collect all the armour pieces you must play the game at least three times through. Also in challenge mode the enemies are a lot more stronger. You can buy an even more powerful version of your weapons once you have fully upgraded them. You can also collect the left over titanium bolts from last time and the ultimate weapon of all time becomes available to buy The RYNO!

So does size really matter?I don’t think so as this game is just as good as the previous PS2 versions.
Maybe better?
